International and Diplomatic Relations

DESCRIPTION

This specialization intends to train foreign language experts, interpreters and translators for International and Diplomatic Organizations. Thanks to specific instruction in this course, the student will become aware of the reality of international organizations and the laws that govern them with a particular focus on the European community. The disciplines and technical-linguistic laboratories will be integrated by legal, sociological and political science disciplines that will allow the linguistic mediator to manage collaborations with foreign countries, to implement international cooperation programs for development and to maintain diplomatic relations for security and for peace.

PROFESSIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

Advanced linguistic skills applied to the world of communication and marketing will allow students to place themselves:

  • within international institutions as a press officer, executive assistant, expert in intercultural communication
  • in multinational companies in relationship with diplomatic entities and institutions and in external relations offices
  • as a linguistic expert in diplomatic institutions
  • in associations and non-profit entities, in non-governmental organizations
  • in international organizations and associations operating in the field of international development cooperation
