The City of Pisa

The School retains its historic headquarters a few steps from Piazza dei Miracoli, in the centre of the university district and the academic life of the city of Pisa.

The Leaning Tower, symbol of Pisa, is one of the best-known Italian monuments in the world. Together with the cathedral and the baptistery, it is part of the complex that the poet D'Annunzio called "Miracles", hence the name in Piazza dei Miracoli for the beauty of the place that hosts them.

The city of Pisa combines the quality of didactic training with places of historical cultural enrichment, fun and entertainment. In fact, the city offers interesting opportunities for cultural enrichment thanks to its theatres, cinemas as well as associations present in the area.

Throughout the year, the Arno River and the historic centre light up with the nightlife of the cafes and pubs overlooking the river. The Arno riverbanks welcome thousands of students who spend their evenings sitting on the famous “spallette”, the banks of the Arno River.

If you are one of those who would like to study in a quiet, student-friendly city well connected by transportation, you are in the right place!

Pisa's Galileo Galilei International Airport has become one of the main Italian airports thanks to the various low-cost airlines that offer weekly national and international flights.

Located just 5 minutes by bus, train or car from the city centre, the airport also offers a shuttle service to/from Pisa central station, so it is also well connected to the nearby city of Florence.
